สถานการณ์ กลยุทธ์และการปรับตัวของผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจ ที่พักในพื้นที่สามจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้

Abstract

          การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสถานการณ์ กลยุทธ์และการปรับตัวของผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจที่พักในพื้นที่สามจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ รวมทั้งปัญหาอุปสรรคในการดำเนินธุรกิจที่พักในพื้นที่ เพื่อนำผลการวิจัยไปสู่การกำหนดนโยบายพัฒนาธุรกิจที่พักในพื้นที่สามจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้อย่างยั่งยืน ดำเนินการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลด้วยวิธีการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจที่พักที่จดทะเบียนกับสำนักงานปกครองจังหวัดปัตตานี นราธิวาส และยะลา วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยเทคนิคการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลการศึกษาพบว่า สถานการณ์ความรุนแรงในพื้นที่เป็นเงื่อนไขสำคัญในการกำหนดลักษณะและรูปแบบการขยายตัวของธุรกิจที่พักในพื้นที่ ทำให้ธุรกิจที่พักในพื้นที่สามจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้มีลักษณะเฉพาะและมีความแตกต่างจากพื้นที่อื่น โดยการเกิดอุปสงค์ด้านที่พักในพื้นที่สามจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ไม่ได้เกิดจากอุปสงค์ด้านการท่องเที่ยวเพียงอย่างเดียว แต่เกิดจากอุปสงค์จากคนในพื้นที่ ซึ่งเปลี่ยนแปลงวิถีการดำรงชีวิต ทำให้เกิดความต้องการที่พักจากคนในพื้นที่ ซึ่งต้องการเพียงที่พักแรมระหว่างเดินทางทำธุระภายในพื้นที่สามจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ เกิดความต้องการห้องพักราคาถูกในพื้นที่ ทำให้ธุรกิจที่พักขนาดเล็กเกิดการขยายตัวอย่างเห็นได้ชัดในทุกจังหวัด ขณะที่ธุรกิจโรงแรมที่พักขนาดใหญ่ได้รับผลกระทบจากสถานการณ์ความรุนแรง รายได้จากห้องพักลดลง แต่มีรายได้จากการให้เช่าห้องประชุมสัมมนาจากหน่วยงานราชการเพิ่มขึ้น  ผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจที่พักจึงปรับปรุง เพิ่มจำนวนห้องประชุม เพื่อรองรับความต้องการของลูกค้ากลุ่มราชการ และเพิ่มบริการอื่นให้ครบวงจรมากขึ้น เช่น มีคาราโอเกะ สถานบันเทิง นวดแผนโบราณ ร้านอาหาร เพื่อให้โรงแรมเป็นศูนย์รวมความบันเทิงในรูปแบบต่างๆ เพื่อเพิ่มรายได้ของโรงแรม ปัญหาอุปสรรคของผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจที่พัก ได้แก่ ปัญหาด้านเงินทุน ปัญหาด้านคู่แข่งขัน ปัญหาด้านอุปสงค์

          The purposes of this research were to study situation, strategies and adaptation of accommodation business entrepreneurs in three southern border provinces and obstacles to business in the area. The research results to the development of a sustainable accommodation business policy in three southern border provinces. The data were collected by in-depth interviews entrepreneurs registered with the provincial administration office in Pattani, Narathiwat and Yala. Data was analyzed by content analysis. The results show that violence in the area is a critical factor in determining the style and pattern of expansion of the accommodation business in the area. Accommodation businesses in the three southern border provinces are unique and different from other areas. Demand for accommodation in the three southern border provinces is not only caused for tourism. But demand from people in the area which changed the way of life. The demand of accommodation is just a place to stay while traveling on business trips for cheap rooms in the three southern border provinces. The small size of accommodation business has grown noticeably in all provinces. Meanwhile, the large accommodation business has been affected by the severe situation, room revenue decreased. However, large accommodation business was an increase in the revenue from the rental of conference room from government agencies. Large accommodation business are improving, increase the number of conference rooms to meet the needs of government customers. And add more services to complete more like; karaoke, entertainment, traditional massage, restaurants. To make large accommodation business an entertainment center of various for increase revenue. Obstacles of accommodation business include: Capital problems, competition problem and demand problem.
