ศิลปะเชิงสัมพันธ์ระหว่างกลุ่มนักศึกษาสาขาวิชาทัศนศิลป์ คณะศิลปกรรมและ สถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลล้านนากับชุมชนเมาะหลวง ชุมชนห้วยคิง และชุมชนหางฮุงในตำบลแม่เมาะ อำเภอแม่เมาะ จังหวัดลำปาง

Abstract

               การสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะตามแนวทางศิลปะเชิงสัมพันธ์ (Relational Art) คือส่วนหนึ่งของการศึกษางานวิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอความสามารถของตนเองในการจัดกิจกรรมร่วมกับนักศึกษาและชุมชนให้คนในสังคมได้รู้และเข้าใจในวิธีการสร้างคุณค่าในเชิงจิตใจ ให้กับชุมชนในตำบลแม่เมาะกับกลุ่มนักศึกษาได้ทำกิจกรรมสร้างสรรค์ศิลปะร่วมกัน และรวบรวมองค์ความรู้ด้านศิลปะประเภทงานสร้างสรรค์ให้เป็นแบบอย่างการทำงานแบบมีส่วนร่วมกับชุมชน ให้เกิดประโยชน์กับชุมชนอย่างแท้จริง โดยมีแนวความคิดถึงการมุ่งการทำงานศิลปะที่ถ่ายทอดประเด็นความสัมพันธ์ทางสังคม ของกลุ่มนักศึกษาในสถาบันอุดมศึกษาไทยที่มีปัญหาถูกมองในเชิงลบ นำเสนอเรื่องราวความสามารถเฉพาะตนของนักศึกษากลุ่มนี้ กับชุมชนที่มีปัญหาในตำบลแม่เมาะ อำเภอแม่เมาะ จังหวัดลำปาง โดยนำกิจกรรมที่สร้างสรรค์ร่วมกันมาแสดงเป็นศิลปะจัดวาง (Installation Art)ในแนวงานศิลปะเชิงสัมพันธ์ (Relational Art) ซึ่งประกอบด้วยผลงานแสดงวีดีโออาร์ต (Video Art) วีดีโอสารคดี (Documentary) และศิลปะสื่อการแสดงสด (Performance Art)

               ผลจากการทำงานร่วมกันกับชุมชน ทำให้ได้เข้าใจและทราบถึงความสามารถเฉพาะตนที่มีของนักศึกษาที่มีปัญหาถูกมองในเชิงลบนั้นสามารถทำให้เกิดผลงานศิลปะเป็นประโยชน์ได้จริงกับชุมชน โดยใช้วิธีการการทำงานแบบมีส่วนร่วมกับชุมชน รวมถึงการสอนศิลปะให้ความรู้แก่ชุมชนที่นำไปสู่การพัฒนาทักษะทางด้านศิลปะของคนในชุมชน ให้ชุมชนสามารถนำความรู้ที่ได้รับไปประยุกต์ใช้กับการพัฒนาวิถีชีวิตของตนเองได้อย่างเหมาะสม เช่นการสอนท่ารำนกกิงกะหร่า การออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์ให้กับชุมชน การทำกิจกรรมช้างผ้าร่วมกับคนในชุมชน การสอนเทคนิควาดภาพจิตรกรรมฝาผนังร่วมกับชุมชน ตลอดระยะเวลาการทำงานร่วมกันนั้น คนในชุมชนได้แสดงให้เห็นถึงความพยายามที่ต้องการจะนำความรู้ที่ได้รับไปปรับใช้ได้จริงกับคนในชุมชน นักศึกษากลุ่มนี้มีทัศนคติต่อการทำงานร่วมกับชุมชนเปลี่ยนแปลงไปในทางที่ดีขึ้น ผลงานที่ทำงานร่วมกับชุมชนมีความละเอียดสวยงาม ในผลงานบางชิ้นอาจสามารถพัฒนาสู่การเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ชุมชนได้ และเยาวชนในชุมชนต้องการฝึกฝนทักษะทางศิลปะเพื่อพัฒนาชุมชนต่อไป

               ในส่วนของการจัดแสดงนิทรรศการศิลปดุษฎีนิพนธ์จะมุ่งนำเสนอในประเด็นของ ความสัมพันธ์กับกิจกรรมที่เกิดขึ้นระหว่างนักศึกษาและคนในชุมชนที่จัดขึ้นโดยตนเอง จนเกิดเป็นแรงบันดาลใจต่อการสร้างพื้นที่สื่อสารที่เปรียบเสมือนเป็นพื้นที่แห่งความทรงจำของตนเองที่มีต่อตำบลแม่เมาะ อำเภอแม่เมาะ จังหวัดลำปาง ผลจากการจัดแสดงผลงานทำให้พบว่า ผู้ชมมีการแสดงทัศนคติเป็นไปในทางบวกเช่นต้องการติดตามผลงานต่อไป แสดงให้เห็นว่าผลงานที่นำเสนอมีผลต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงทัศนคติของผู้ชม ถึงแม้ว่าจะมีทัศนคติการแสดงความคิดเห็นในเชิงลบอยู่บ้างแต่เมื่อเทียบกับผลเชิงบวกนั้นมีมากกว่า ซึ่งทำให้เห็นว่าผู้ชมยอมรับและเปิดใจที่จะเรียนรู้ความเป็นไปของผลงาน ดังนั้นจึงอาจกล่าวได้ว่าผลการจัดแสดงนิทรรศการศิลปะที่เกิดขึ้น นอกจากจะเป็นพื้นที่ของการสื่อสารทางศิลปะแล้ว ยังสามารถเป็นสะพานเชื่อมโยงไปถึงการรับรู้คุณค่าทางจิตใจให้กับผู้ชมอีกทางหนึ่งด้วยเช่นเดียวกัน

                The creation of this Relational Art work is a part of a Thesis Doctorate of Fine Art. The objective is to present my ability to organize activities together with a group of students and communities, in order for society to know and understand about ways to create spiritual values for communities in Mae Moh District and a group of students who performed creative activities together, as well as to gather knowledge on creative art that can serve as a model for participation with communities. The concept is to focus on the interactions between a group of students from a Thai higher education institute with problematic issues who are seen in a negative light by presenting the individual abilities of these students using Relational Art as a directive and the communities in Mae Moh District, Lampang Province that also have to deal with problematic issues by presenting collaborative creative activities in a work of Installation Art that includes Video Art , Documentary, and Performance Art.

               This collaboration with communities resulted in a better understanding of the abilities of this group of students who are usually seen in a negative light.  They created works of art that are genuinely useful for the communities, using participation as well as teaching art to educate and develop the skills of the people within these communities.  Some examples of collaborative activities are product design, elephant fabric creation, teaching Thai Dance and Mural Painting. People in the communities have tried to apply this knowledge to their own life. The result of collaboration with the community changed for the better.  The work they did was delicate and some pieces may even be developed into community products.  Furthermore some young people from the communities want to develop their artistic skill for community development.

               The Art Thesis Exhibition focused on the communication of art by presenting the relation through the activities performed by the students and the people from the communities as an inspiration to create an area of communication.  This area of communication is like a space of memories. This space was created through my imagination, my memories and my emotions.  Many people from the audience wanted to follow up or had some advice for developing or improving the work of art. Although there were some negative responses, these were largely outnumbered by the positive, indicating that the audience accepted and learned from this work. Therefore it can be said that the result of this Art Thesis Exhibition, in addition to being an area of art communication, is like a bridge that connects the spiritual values of the viewers.
