Abstract

Dependent Samples

In this research inquiry, the researcher (1) constructs computer-assisted instruction (CAI) lessons in physics on Rotational Motion as based on Robert M. Gagné’s concepts in addition to determining whether these lessons satisfy the efficiency standard of 80:80; (2) compares the academic achievement of students using these lessons prior to the commencement and after the completion of this science-mathematics plan study; and (3) establishes levels of student satisfaction with the lessons.

The research sample consisted of 55 students of Matthayom Sueksa 4 during second semester in the academic year 2016 at The Demonstration School of Ramkhamhaeng University (DSRU). The instruments use for gathering data were : 1) Computer Assisted Instruction Lessons on Rotational Motion 2) A learning achievement test and 3) A Questionnaire on students’ satisfaction towards the Computer Assisted Instruction Lessons on Rotational Motion. The data were analyzed using means, standard deviation, and t-test for Dependent Samples.

             Findings are as follows:

The CAI lessons were found to show efficiency at 81.01/80.19

In comparing academic achievement of the students in the experimental group using the CAI lessons, the researcher found that academic achievement after the completion of the experiment was higher than prior to its commencement at the statistically significant level of .05.

In establishing the levels of student satisfaction with the CAI lessons, the researcher found that the students evinced mean satisfaction in all aspects at a high level (M = 3.63).
