คำยืมภาษาเขมรในวรรณคดีสมัยอยุธยาตอนต้น (The Khmer loanwords in ealy Ayutthaya literature)

Abstract

                    วรรณคดีสมัยอยุธยาตอนต้นเป็นวรรณคดีที่มีคุณค่าทั้งในด้านเนื้อหาและคุณค่าในเชิงวรรณศิลป์แต่เนื่องจากกวีใช้ภาษาไทยโบราณและใช้คำยืมภาษาต่างประเทศทั้งภาษาบาลี สันสกฤตและภาษาเขมรเป็นจำนวนมากจึงทำให้ผู้สนใจศึกษาวรรณคดีส่วนใหญ่ไม่เข้าใจความหมายและไม่ได้รับอรรถรสในการอ่านวรรณคีเท่าที่ควร ผู้เขียนจึงเขียนบทความนี้โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่ออธิบายความหมายของคำยืมภาษาเขมรที่ปรากฏในวรรณคดีสมัยอยุธยาตอนต้นอันจะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อผู้สนใจศึกษาวรรณคดีต่อไป

                   Literature in the early Ayutthaya period is the work of art with great values in both contents and poetic beauty. A number of ancient Thai and loanwords from Pali, Sanskrit, and Khmer used by poets inevitably make it difficult for most researchers to thoroughly understand and enjoy reading the literature. These obstacles, therefore,encourage the author to write this article with the aim to explicate the meanings of the Khmer loanwords found in ealy Ayutthaya literature,which will be worthy for those who are interested in making a further study of the works of the period.
