This research aimed to study of Thai tourists’ behaviors and environmental responsibility in marine and beach tourism: the case of Koh Samui, Surattanee, Thailand. This study aims to explore tourism behavior, environmental responsibility, and factors associated with tourism behavior and environmental responsibility of Thai tourists who travel in marine and beach tourism. This research has employed the concepts of tourist behavior, consumer culture theory and mindful consumption in the study. Based on quantitative research methods in data collections, 400 questionnaires were used to collect data from Thai tourists. The results show that most Thai tourists about 76.90 percent have independently planned their trip by themselves, stay in Koh Samui for 3.33 days in average, and most of them about 62.91 percent have visited Koh Samui for holiday. Usually, most Thai tourists have set air condition temperature at 25C. Regarding to environmental responsibility, Thai tourists do agree that government should take the responsibility for issuing key strategies to reduce carbon emissions in the tourism industry. At the same time, they have admitted that tourists have to participate and cooperate with tourism businesses in low-carbon tourism activities. Moreover, both Thai and international tourists are willing to participate in the low-carbon tourism activities, but they also focus on the fun and enjoyment during their leisure time.        The tests of hypotheses show that age, marriage status, a number of adults in household, education, working status, membership of environment organization, donation to environment organization, travelling objective, and a number of tourists in the trip of Thai tourists are associated with environmental responsibility at the statistically significant level 0.05.
