การศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการพัฒนาหลักสูตรปรัชญาดุษฎีบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาการจัดการท่องเที่ยว โรงแรม และงานอีเวนท์ คณะวิทยาการจัดการ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร (Study feasibility of the development of the Doctor of Philosophy in the Faculty of Hotel, Tourism, and Event Management)

Abstract

               การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการพัฒนาหลักสูตรปรัชญาดุษฎีบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาการจัดการท่องเที่ยว โรงแรม และงานอีเวนท์ ซึ่งเป็นการวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน ระหว่างการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณและเชิงคุณภาพ สำหรับประชากรที่ใช้ศึกษาในการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณได้แก่ ผู้ที่คาดว่าจะศึกษาต่อจำนวน 400 คน และผู้ประกอบการจำนวน 100 คน โดยใช้การสุ่มตัวอย่างโดยการเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้เป็นแบบสอบถาม สรุปข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา สำหรับการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพใช้วิธีการวิจัยเอกสาร และการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก ผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลักจำนวน 17 คน ใช้แนวสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกเป็นเครื่องมือ ผลการศึกษาปรากฏว่าแนวทางการพัฒนาหลักสูตร ภายใต้ขั้นการพัฒนาหลักสูตรของโบแชมพ์ องค์ประกอบหลักสูตรมี 4 ส่วน คือ 1) ขอบข่ายเนื้อหา 2) เป้าหมายหรือวัตถุประสงค์เฉพาะ 3) การวางแผนการใช้หลักสูตร และ 4) การพิจารณาตัดสิน สำหรับการศึกษาความต้องการ พบว่า ผู้คาดว่าจะมาเรียน มีระดับความคิดเห็นต่อความต้องการโดยรวม อยู่ในระดับมาก สำหรับในส่วนของผลการศึกษาของผู้ประกอบการ มีระดับความคิดเห็นของด้านคุณธรรมจริยธรรม ด้านความรู้ความสามารถเกี่ยวกับงาน ด้านเชาว์ปัญญา ด้านความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างบุคคลและความรับผิดชอบ ตลอดจนระดับความรู้ความสามารถในการปฏิบัติงานที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสายงานด้านการท่องเที่ยว โรงแรม และงานอีเวนท์โดยรวม อยู่ในระดับมากทุกด้าน และในด้านของสถานการณ์ที่เหมาะสมในการจัดการการศึกษาในพัฒนาหลักสูตร พบว่า การสร้างบัณฑิตที่สามารถคิดได้ ทำงานได้จริง สามารถตอบสนองความต้องการของสังคมได้ อีกทั้งในเรื่องของการทำวิจัยเป็นสิ่งที่สามารถนำไปพัฒนาสังคมได้ในทุกด้าน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นในเรื่องของการเมืองเศรษฐกิจ และวัฒนธรรม ในเรื่องของการจัดทำหลักสูตร หลักสูตรจะมีความทันสมัยอยู่เสมอก็จะทำให้หลักสูตรนี้เกิดความยั่งยืน และจากการศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ของหลักสูตรพบว่า มีความเป็นไปได้สูงหากคณะวิทยาการจัดการมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากรจะเปิดสอนในหลักสูตรดังกล่าว โดยพบว่าหากดำเนินการลงทุนเปิดหลักสูตรจะคืนทุนในปีที่ 8 และอัตราผลตอบแทนภายใน (Internal  Rate of Return: IRR) ปีที่ 5 ได้เท่ากับ -29 % ปีที่ 10 ได้เท่ากับ 16 % ปีที่ 15 ได้เท่ากับ 21 % และปีที่ 20 ได้เท่ากับ 23% และมูลค่าปัจจุบันสุทธิ (Net Present Value :NPV) ได้เท่ากับ 4,341,983.52 บาทมีค่ามากกว่าศูนย์ จึงเห็นควรน่าลงทุนเนื่องจากค่า IRR มีค่ามากกว่าผลตอบแทนจากการลงทุนอื่นๆเช่นการนำเงินไปฝากธนาคาร ลงทุนในตราสารหนี้อื่นๆ ทองคำและหุ้นสามัญ และNPV มีค่ามากกว่าศูนย์แต่ในช่วงหลังตั้งแต่ปีที่ 15 เป็นต้นไปทางคณะวิทยาการจัดการจะมีต้นทุนที่สูงขึ้นแต่ในทางตรงกันข้ามรายได้ที่ได้รับเท่าเดิม ดังนั้นในช่วงนั้นจึงจำเป็นที่จะต้องมีการรับนักศึกษาเพิ่มขึ้นเพื่อเป็นการเพิ่มรายได้ให้แก่คณะวิทยาการจัดการ

                  This research aimed to study the feasibility of the development of the Doctor of Philosophy in the Faculty of Hotel, Tourism, and Event Management, which was a mixed research study of qualitative and quantitative research. For the population to be studied in the quantitative study, 400 people and 100 entrepreneurs that were sampled by purposive sampling. The tool used was a questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis was descriptive statistics. The tools used for qualitative research were documentary research and in-depth interviews. There were 17 key informants who participated in in-depth interviews as tools. Study results curriculum development guidelines under the curriculum development stage of Bochamp The curriculum components have 4 parts: 1) content scope, 2) specific goals or objectives, 3) curriculum implementation planning, and 4) decision making. For the study of the needs, it was found that discovered that overall opinions on demands of people who intended to study were in high As for the part of the studies regarding the entrepreneurs, overall opinions regarding morality and ethics, work-related knowledge and abilities, wisdom, relations between individuals and responsibility as well as wisdom regarding performance in the field of tourism, hotels, and events were all in high levels. And in the aspect of appropriate situations in educational management in curriculum development, it was found that the creation of graduates who can think and actually work can meet the needs of society. In addition, research is something that can be used to develop society in all aspects. Whether it is in politics, economy and culture, about the curriculum. The course will always be up-to-date and will make this course sustainable. And from the feasibility study of the curriculum, it was found that It is highly likely that the Faculty of Management Sciences at Silpakorn University will open the course. It is found that if the investment is conducted, the program will return capital in the 8th year and the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) for the 5th year is -29%, the 10th year is equal to 16%, the 15th year is 21. % And year 20 equals 23% and net present value (NPV) equals 4,341,983.52 baht, greater than zero Therefore it is advisable to invest because the IRR value is greater than the return from other investments such as depositing money into banks. Invest in other debt securities Gold and ordinary shares and NPV are greater than zero, but in the latter, from the 15th year onwards, the Faculty of Management Science will have higher costs but on the contrary, the income received is the same. Therefore, it was necessary to receive more students in order to increase income for the Faculty of Management Science.
