ทบทวนองค์ความรู้ว่าด้วย “ทำไมต้องศึกษา “รัฐศาสตร์” เชิงวิพากษ์? (A Review of Body of Knowledge: Why should Critical Political Science Should Be Studied?)

Abstract

                บทความวิชาการนี้เริ่มต้นด้วยการกล่าวถึงความหลากหลายของการเรียนสาขารัฐศาสตร์และกล่าวถึงขอบข่ายของการศึกษาที่ครอบคลุมวิชาย่อยและมิติต่าง ๆ ของวิชา ผู้เขียนต้องการนำเสนอองค์ความรู้ที่ผิดแผกแตกต่างไปจากรัฐศาสตร์กระแสหลัก ที่มุ่งเน้นแต่ความเป็นวิทยาศาสตร์จนแข็งทื่อเกินไป ผู้เขียนจึงแนะนำว่า การศึกษารัฐศาสตร์เชิงวิพากษ์เริ่มต้นจากการมองโลกอย่างไร และงานชิ้นไหนควรต้องอ่าน  โดยได้ ยกงานวิชาการที่โดดเด่นเข้ามาย้ำกล่าวให้ผู้ที่สนใจรัฐศาสตร์ควรพิจารณาอ่านงานเหล่านี้ ซึ่งจะเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการเปิดมุมมองและเปิดโลกทัศน์ให้นักรัฐศาสตร์มองปรากฏการณ์ต่าง ๆ ด้วยการตั้งคำถามในแง่มุมเชิงวิพากษ์  มิใช่ เชิงยอมจำนน

                This academic article begins by identifying the varieties of political science and the domains of its subject which covers many sub-subjects and dimensions. The author proposes a body of knowledge which different from a mainstream political science which focused on forms of rigid science.  The author argues that critical political science starts at the way to look the world and suggests the famous texts from the great thinkers which could open worldview for any political scientist can see any phenomena with critical mind without subordination.
