การศึกษาภาพน้ำตกระหว่างจิตรกรรมกับภาพพิมพ์อูคิโยะเอะสมัยเอโดะถึงต้นเมจิ (Study the waterfalls between painting and Ukiyo-e in Edo-Meiji periods)

Abstract

               การศึกษาภาพวาด “น้ำตก” ประเภทระหว่างจิตรกรรมและภาพพิมพ์อูคิโยะเอะของศิลปินญี่ปุ่น 4 ท่าน ตั้งแต่สมัยเอโดะจนถึงสมัยต้นเมจิ เพื่อค้นหาจุดต่างและความเหมือนร่วมในแต่ละเทคนิค โดยแบ่งเป็น 6 ด้านคือ เรื่องราว, ขนาด, เส้น, สี, การจัดองค์ประกอบภาพและลักษณะของน้ำตก เมื่อเปรียบเทียบแล้วจึงทำให้ทราบถึงลักษณะเด่นเฉพาะของทั้งจิตรกรรมและภาพพิมพ์ญี่ปุ่น รวมทั้งทราบความเป็นมาของภาพน้ำตก  อันมีเรื่องราวความเชื่อที่สืบต่อเนื่องจากอดีต ทำให้ช่วยเสริมการเข้าใจของการวาดภาพน้ำตกของญี่ปุ่นในยุคปัจจุบันได้ ด้วยผลสรุป 2 แนวร่วมที่เหมือนกัน คือ 1.เรื่องราวของภาพน้ำตก เช่น ในภาพมีปลาคาร์ฟว่ายทวนน้ำปีนขึ้นน้ำตก เรื่องนี้จัดเป็นภาพที่ศิลปินต้องศึกษาเรื่องนี้เมื่อวาดภาพน้ำตก หรือพระผู้แสวงบุญกับน้ำตก  2.ลักษณะความสูงลิวของน้ำตกที่มองไม่เห็นจุดเริ่มต้นเบื้องบนสุดของน้ำตก อันแทนถึงความยิ่งใหญ่ของเทพเจ้าที่สูงลิบเกินกว่าจะมองเห็นและความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ซึ่งทั้งสองส่วนสำคัญนี้ล้วนเป็นที่มาของภาพน้ำตกขนาดยักษ์ของ ฮิโระชิ เส็นจู ศิลปินผู้วาดภาพน้ำตกที่เลื่องชื่อที่สุดของยุคปัจจุบันลอยเด่นชัด โดยไม่ต้องถามที่มาของภาพ

               This research aims to study of Waterfalls between painting and Ukiyo-e by 4 artists in Edo-Meiji periods to seek for its different or similar parts each of techniques that divided into six categories; story, size, type of line, color, composition and character of waterfalls. Comparison the unique and remarkable techniques of paintings and Ukiyo-e realize to derivation stories and beliefs from the past which leads to the creation of waterfall artworks into the present. The result shows two similar parts were found are as follow; 1. The story of artworks: the upstream swimming of carp or the picture of pilgrims. 2. The height of the waterfalls which cannot see the highest beginning of waterfall because Japanese believe it is the secred place for God. Because of these both concepts make us clearly to understand the giant waterfall paintings of Hiroshi Senju without doubt.
