Abstract

จากการที่ผู้คนได้อพยพเข้ามาในสังคมเมืองมากๆทำให้เกิดปัญหาหลายอย่างตามมา โดยเฉพาะปัญหาที่อยู่อาศัย เนื่องจากจำนวนประชากรได้เพิ่มขึ้นเกินกว่าที่พื้นที่ในสังคมนั้นจะรองรับได้จึงทำให้เกิดปัญหาสังคมแออัด และเพื่อให้พื้นที่ที่มีอยู่เพียงพอต่อความต้องการของประชากร การจัดการเรื่องพื้นที่จึงเกิดขึ้นคือ การสร้างที่อยู่อาศัย “บ้าน” ที่มีรูปแบบเป็นลักษณะ “ตึก” ขึ้นเพื่อให้คุ้มค่าและเพียงพอต่อจำนวนประชากรที่ต้องการเข้ามาอาศัยอยู่ที่นับวันมีแต่จะเพิ่มขึ้นเรื่อยๆ ผู้คนเหล่านี้ต้องเข้ามาอาศัยอยู่ใน “บ้าน”หรือ ที่เรียกว่า “ตึก” ซึ่งมีพื้นที่เพียงแค่ห้องสี่เหลี่ยมเล็กๆ ที่อยู่อาศัยที่เรียกว่า “บ้าน” สถานที่ที่รวมทุกๆอย่างของวิถีชีวิตไว้ กลับกลายเป็นแค่ห้องสี่เหลี่ยมเล็กๆที่มีพื้นที่อันจำกัดที่ต้องรวบรวมทุกอย่างของวิถีชีวิตไว้

ข้าพเจ้าสร้างสรรค์ผลงานเพื่อต้องการสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงสภาพของที่อยู่อาศัยที่เรียกว่า “บ้าน” ของคนในสังคมเมืองที่อาศัยอยู่กันในรูปแบบของ “ตึก” ที่มีรูปแบบของบ้านไปสู่กล่องเล็กๆที่ซ้อนกันอยู่ที่เรียกว่าแฟลต หรือ คอนโด และยังรวมไปถึงความเป็นอยู่ของบ้านแต่ละหลัง ห้องแต่ละห้อง(กล่องแต่ละกล่อง) โดยสภาพของกล่องแต่ละใบก็ดูเหมือนจะมีสภาพที่ไม่แตกต่างกันเท่าใดนัก ซึ่งไม่ว่าจะเป็นช่วงเวลาใดหรือเวลาใดก็ตาม และยิ่งเวลาผ่านไปบ้านเหล่านี้ก็มีแต่จะเพิ่มจำนวนขึ้นเรื่อยๆอย่างไม่มีวันสิ้นสุด

Because of the number of emigrant in downtown has increased quickly the problem has begun. The most seriously problem is habitation. Most of emigrant thinks that live in downtown is better than live in their countryside so they decided to move from their place to have a better life. Today 69 per cent of urban population in the country is located in downtown. Because the downtown space was limited to solve this problem is the space-allocation. People decided to live their life in the building way to manage the space that was limited .to sole the over-population problem. House in otherwise which have limited space. The buildings that accumulated every life together. The Building with tiny space where people called home. I made this works because I want to show the real situation of the downtown city nowadays. Many people now live their life in the small room of the buildings that’s what they called home. The building with the small rooms standing in the line that’s look like boxes. Condominiums, Flat, Apartments all of these building are quite similar to each other and the number of these building has increased so fast.
