การสร้างสรรค์ผลงานดุริยางคศิลป์ ชุด สัตว์หิมพานต์ (The Music Composition: The Himmapan Creatures)

Abstract

               การสร้างสรรค์ผลงานดุริยางคศิลป์ ชุด สัตว์หิมพานต์ในครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างสรรค์ผลงานด้านดุริยางคศิลป์ไทยจากการศึกษาคำอธิบายในคัมภีร์ไตรภูมิวินิจฉยกถา งานศิลปกรรมต่าง ๆ และคติความเชื่อ เกี่ยวกับสัตว์หิมพานต์ โดยกล่าวถึงสัตว์หิมพานต์ที่เป็นพญาของสัตว์ 9 ชนิด ได้แก่ ไกรสรสีหราช (สิงห์) พญาฉัททันต์ (ช้าง) พญาพลาหก (ม้า) พญาโคนิสภราช (วัว) พญาหงส์ทอง (หงส์) พญากินนรแห่งสุวัณณนคร (กินนร) พญาครุฑ (ครุฑ) ปลาอานนท์ (ปลา) พญานาคสุนันทนาคราชและปนันทนาคราช (นาค) ในบทความนี้จะอธิบายวิธีการสร้างสรรค์เพลงไกรสรสีหราช ประกอบไปด้วย 3 ท่อน ได้แก่ สุรสีหนาทราชสีห์ ราชสีห์ดำเนินและราชสีห์สำเริง มีสังคีตลักษณ์ซ้ำท้าย คือ กข/คข/งข ใช้ทางเสียง 3 ทางเสียงได้แก่ ทางเสียงเพียงออล่าง ทางเสียงในและทางเสียงเพียงออบน มีจุดเด่นที่สำคัญในการประพันธ์ คือการเปลี่ยนเสียงเป็นคู่สอง การใช้กลวิธีสะบัดท้ายประโยค และการใช้เสียงกลองแทนเสียงคำรามของราชสีห์ ทั้งนี้มีการสร้างสรรค์วงดนตรีขึ้นใหม่เพื่อบรรเลงเพลงไกรสรสีหราชโดยเฉพาะ

              The Music Composition: The Himmapan Creatures aims to create a Thai music artwork from the study of the description in Traibhumikatha Book, work of art, and beliefs regarding Himmaphan creatures. The Book mentions the kings of 9 creatures which are Kraisorn Rajasiha (Lion), Chattan (Elephant), Palahok (Horse), Nisapharat (Ox), Golden Swan, Kinnorn of Suwanna Nakhon (Kinnara), Garuda, Anon Fish, and Sunanta Nakaraj and Pananta Nakaraj (Naga). This article will describe the method for the music composition called The Himmapan Creatures which consists of 3 sections: Sura-srihanata Rajasiha, Damnern Rajasiha, and Sumreung Rajasiha. The music form follows AB/CB/DB and the composition contains 3 scales which are Pieng-Or Lang scales, Nai scales, and Pieng-Or Bon scales. The strong point of the composition are the change into modulation intervals, the use of grace notes (an ornament note printed in small type to indicate that its time value is not counted in the general rhythm), and the sound of a drum to imitate the roar of Lion. Moreover, the band is newly formed specifically to perform the Kraisorn Sriharaj song.
