THE DEVELOPMENT OF PRISA LEARNING MODEL FOR PROMOTING HONESTY OF YOUNG CHILDREN

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop the PRISA learning model to promote young children’s honesty. This study consisted of 2 steps:           1) Establishing the learning model of PRISA and study the qualifications of the learning model 2) Establishing the instruments and study the qualifications of the instruments 3) The pilot study was conducted with the young children group, aged 5 to 6 in the 1st semester of academic year 2013 at Anubanmaetha School 14 young children and Ban si muat klao School 15 young children.    Try out The sample was selected by purposive sampling . The pilot study was carried out for 2 weeks.  The instruments used in this research were PRISA learning model , Lesson Plan according to PRISA learning model , The Honesty Conservational Practical of young children and Evaluation form for honesty of young children . The data were analyzed by using Item Objective Congruence.

  The results of research found that  PRISA learning model to promote young children’s honesty comprised 5 steps of Preception : P, Reflective thinking : R, Interaction : I, Sharing : S, and Application : A. The Item Objective Congruence of PRISA, after 5 experts assessed it, was 0.6-1.0 which was shown that the model contents appropriateness and implementation to promote young children’s honesty.
