บทคัดย่อ

               พลวัตทางสถาปัตยกรรมพื้นถิ่นของชาวจีนฮ่อ: กรณีศึกษาหมู่บ้านสันติชล ตำบลเวียงใต้ อำเภอปาย จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน เป็นการศึกษาลักษณะการเปลี่ยนแปลงบ้านชาวจีนฮ่อว่ามีการเปลี่ยนแปลงไปอย่างไรบ้างและมีปัจจัยใดบ้างที่ส่งผลต่อบ้านชาวจีนฮ่อ

               ในการลงพื้นที่เพื่อทำการศึกษาได้ลงพื้นที่สำรวจหมู่บ้านสันติชล จากนั้นทำการเลือกกรณีศึกษาในหมู่บ้านขึ้นมาเพื่อทำการเก็บข้อมูล แล้วนำมาวิเคราะห์ด้านการก่อสร้างวัสดุที่ใช้และลักษณะการใช้สอยบ้านในพื้นที่ต่างๆ แล้วได้ทำการศึกษาเปรียบเทียบกับ “โครงการการศึกษาหมู่บ้าน บ้านและเทคโนโลยีการก่อสร้างของหมู่บ้านจีนฮ่อ จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน” ซึ่งศึกษาโดย ศาสตราจารย์อรศิริ ปาณินท์ เพื่อสามารถทราบถึงรูปแบบและพัฒนาการของบ้านจีนฮ่อ ภายในหมู่บ้านสันติชลว่ามีการเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างไรบ้างและแนวโน้มอย่างไรในอนาคต

               ผลจากการศึกษาสามารถทราบได้ว่า ภายในหมู่บ้านสันติชลนั้นรูปลักษณ์ของบ้านยังสามารถคงความเป็นบ้านชั้นเดียวไว้ได้หากแต่สิ่งที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไปอย่างมาก คือ การเลือกใช้วัสดุที่นำมาก่อสร้างโดยเลือกใช้วัสดุที่มีความคงทนและถาวรมากขึ้น เปลี่ยนแปลงไปจากผนังบ้านดินดิบหรือไม้ไผ่ นอกจากนี้บ้านหลังที่ตั้งอยู่ติดกับริมถนนของหมู่บ้าน ส่วนใหญ่จะมีอาชีพค้าขายเพิ่มเติมไม่ได้มีอาชีพแค่การเกษตรกรรมเพียงอย่างเดียว สามารถสรุปได้ว่า บ้านของชาวจีนฮ่อจากอดีตจนถึงปัจจุบันไม่ได้มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงไปมาก และยังสามารถคงเอกลักษณ์ของบ้านชั้นเดียวแบบชาวจีนในชนบทไว้ได้อยู่ หากแต่สิ่งที่มีการปรับเปลี่ยนไปคือ การเลือกใช้วัสดุที่ใช้เพื่อให้เหมาะสมกับสภาพในสภาวะปัจจุบันเพียงเท่านั้น

Abstract

            Dynamic of Haw’s vernacular architecture: Case study at Santichon, Pai district, Mae Hong Son is a study of changes of Haw houses about how they have changed and factors that have impacted Haw houses. 

            Regarding fieldwork for studies, there have been fieldwork investigations of Santichon village. After this, there were selections of case studies in the village for data collection, which then were analyzed with the aspects of construction, used materials, and house usage in various areas, after which a comparative study was conducted with the “Village, house, and construction technologies of Haw villages of Mae Hong Son study project”, which was a study of Professor Ornsiri Panint, in order to be able to know the forms and development of Haw homes within Santichon village to see what kind of changes and tendencies for the future there were.

               Study results also found that the appearance of houses within Santichon village can still be maintained as single-storey houses, but the thing that had changed much was the selection of materials for construction usage by selecting more durable and permanent materials different from raw soil or bamboo walls. Furthermore regarding houses located at the village roadside, many of them have additional occupations in trade and not only agricultural occupations. It can be concluded that Haw houses from the past to the present have not changed much and can still maintain the appearance of single-storey houses of countryside Chinese people, but the thing that had changed was the choice of materials used merely to be appropriate with the current situations.
