กระแสความคิดสัจนิยม: บทปริทัศน์เบื้องต้น

Abstract

         บทความนี้เป็นบทปริทัศน์กระแสความคิดสัจนิยมหลัก 3 กระแส ได้แก่ สัจนิยมคลาสสิก สัจนิยมใหม่ สัจนิยมคลาสสิกใหม่ โดยมีจุดมุ่งหมาย 2 ประการ คือ แสดงสารัตถะของกระแสความคิดสัจนิยมทั้งสาม ทั้งนี้ ให้ความสำคัญกับกระแสความคิดสัจนิยมคลาสสิกใหม่เป็นพิเศษ เพราะยังไม่เป็นที่รู้จักมากนักในประเทศไทย จุดมุ่งหมายอีกประการหนึ่งคือ เพื่อเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นในการอ่านตัวบทดั้งเดิมที่เป็นภาษาอังกฤษต่อไป

         This article is a preliminary review of the three main realist currents of thought: classical realism, neorealism, and neoclassical realism. The aims are twofold: To give the main points of the three realist currents of thought, with an emphasis on neoclassical realism, which is not widely known in Thailand, and to provide a starting point for reading original texts in English.
