About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Asian Creative Architecture, Art and Design: ACAAD is a journal that aims to disseminate knowledge and advancements in scholarly works and research in the fields of design and creativity, covering various aspects of architecture, urban and community design and environment, regional and urban planning, landscape architecture, interior architecture, industrial arts, industrial design, graphic design, digital media and film design, photography, fine arts, media art, illustration art, visual arts, and other related fields. It is targeted at lecturers, researchers, doctoral students, and general audiences. It is published biannually (2 issues per year: Issue 1 January-June and Issue 2 July-December). The journal uses a peer-review process with rigorous academic quality control by at least 3 reviewers to select articles that contribute new knowledge and keep up with the latest developments.
The journal accepts articles in three categories:
1) Research Articles These articles demonstrate significance, relevant literature review, research methodology, credibility, and validity, along with research outcomes and result discussions.
2) Academic Articles These articles showcase reviews of relevant concepts, principles, and theories, along with analysis and synthesis for processing.
3) Review Articles These articles compile knowledge from textbooks, books, new journals, or from the author's works and experiences, organized with analysis, synthesis, criticism, and comparison.
Starting from the 28th year onwards, the journal will publish articles in E-Journal format available at the Website URL: https://www.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/archkmitl/index.
Author guidelines
1) The article must not have been previously published anywhere (both domestically and internationally). If it has been published, permission for republication must be obtained in writing from the copyright owner.
2) The article must not be under consideration by any other print media.
3) The article must not violate the copyrights of others.
4) The article must present new knowledge in the academic field, such as research findings, study results, research methodologies, data collection methods, or analysis techniques.
5) The article should explain fundamental concepts or specific theories sufficient for creating a framework of variables or factors relevant to the research or study.
6) The article should explain the research methodology, covering the scope of the research, population, sample groups, sample size selection, research methods, research tools, data collection methods, or study methodologies. Academic articles should cover formats and methods, study scopes, characteristics of the study sample, study tools and equipment, data collection methods, and data analysis methods.
7) The original manuscript submitted must demonstrate high-quality organization and writing in Thai and/or English at a proficient level, with a well-structured system of topic management, concise and easily understandable content, correct grammar, and spelling.
8) The content and format of the abstract should be accurate according to the guidelines and should be approximately 350 words in length.
9) The formatting of the article should adhere to the guidelines for academic writing formats and instructions.
10) The article should not exceed a length of 4,000-6,000 words or 10-25 pages of A4 paper including illustrations.
11) Thai and English articles should use the TH-Sarabun-PSK font style.
12) The article must adhere to the citation format in the content and in the reference list at the end, using the APA Style Reference List (7th edition).
13) The journal requests revisions to improve the quality of language organization and grammar in both Thai and English, as well as the topic management system and content clarity. The formatting must also be correct before proceeding further.
14) All submitted articles will undergo reading and evaluation by at least three qualified experts in the respective field, who will remain anonymous to the authors (Double Blind).
15) Authors are requested to anonymize their names or any identifying information that may appear in the article, such as self-references within the content, reference lists, or acknowledgments.
16) Articles of a different nature beyond the above specifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the editorial board.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
