Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission must adhere to strict ethical standards to ensure that this work is original, accurate and reliable. Any publication malpractices are not acptable; including, plageiarism, publication, and faltification, authorships disputes and has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.

  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Five documents (Title and authors page, title and main manuscript, copyright transfer agreement page, letter to editor, Institutional ethics committee (IEC) approval letter) are submitted. Documents    
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the recommended format.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  • The author can write in either American English or British English, but not a mix of both.
  • Please follow the suggested reference style closely for all layout, punctuation, spacing, and capitalization.

  • Authors should insure that the main maunscript does not comtain any information that could reveal the identities to ensure that the review process is conducted in fair and unbiased

Author Guidelines

After submitting the five files: the manuscript, the title and authors page, and a cover letter to the editor, and copyright transfer agreement, please add the authors’ names and e-mail addresses in the “Metadata” section of the Journal online submission system.

In the cover letter to the editor, please state the importance of why your manuscript should be published, and it has not been published elsewhere. You may propose 2 potential reviewer names and their E-mail addresses. The selected reviewers are not from the same hospital/university as the authors. The process of peer review is double-blinded.

Systematic Review

We are using the same criteria as the original manuscript.

Original Article

The original article in English should consist of abstract, introduction, methods, results, discussion and references. The article should not more than 10 pages of A4. (See template) 

Short Communication

It is an academic article similar to a research report but more concise. It includes an introduction, objectives, methodology, study results, discussion, conclusion, and references. The editor suggests up to two pictures or tables and, at most, ten references.

Case Series

A case series is group of case reports involving patients who were given similar treatment. When information on more than three patients is included, the case series is considered. It contains an abstract, introduction, patient history, physical examination, investigation, treatment results, discussion, conclusion, recommendation, and references. The maximum length is eight pages of an A4 paper and no more than fifteen references.

Case Report

A case report is an interesting case that will be useful for further treatment and rehabilitation of patients. It contains an abstract, introduction, patient history, physical examination, investigation, treatment results, discussion, conclusion, recommendation, and references. The maximum length is six pages of an A4 paper and no more than ten references.

Review Article

The review article should be a new knowledge in rehabilitation medicine. It should include of introduction, content, conclusion and recent references; and should not be longer than 8 page of A4.

Innovation

Innovative research consists of an abstract, introduction, objectives, details, components, methods, reviews, benefits and disadvantages, summaries, and reference documents. The maximum length is five pages of A4 paper.

Innovation Research

We are using the same criteria as the original manuscript.

Special Article

The author has experienced it in some particular way and writes about any aspect of that matter, including interesting stories from academic conferences both in and foreign countries that are beneficial to the readers. The maximum length is five pages of A4 paper.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
