Abstract

This paper aims to propose the discovery of indigenous human capital model in the context of communities rather than entrepreneur. Existed human capital would be used for community opportunities which are concerned with wellbeing and the quality of life of community members. The wellbeing of communities would comprise economic aspect, social aspect and ecological aspect. This paper will propose a model for indigenous human capital discovery through entrepreneurial opportunities and discovery theory with applying strategic mapping and knowledge mapping. The knowledge mapping would represent the content and topic of knowledge, competencies of community members, the procedure of business processes which will be focused on community activities. Moreover, this paper will proposed two knowledge elements—education of members and behavious that are positive with community opportunities in the knowledge map in order to identify educational human capital and behavioural capital. The discovery of indigenous human capital would monitor the situations of communities which would be used to transfer or creation the human capital to the young generation to be human capital for community development.
