นาค : สำนึกร่วมทางสังคมของกลุ่มคนอาณาบริเวณลุ่มน้ำโขง

บทคัดย่อ

“นาค” เป็นสัญลักษณ์ที่แสดงถึงสำนึกร่วมของกลุ่มคนลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง ที่เชื่อกันว่านาคเป็นสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ทำหน้าที่ปกป้อง คุ้มครอง ดูแลผู้คนและทรัพยากรลุ่มน้ำโขงให้มีความอุดมสมบูรณ์ และเป็นกลไกควบคุมสังคมให้ดำรงอยู่อย่างปกติสุข ซึ่งความเชื่อเรื่องนาคได้สะท้อนผ่านเรื่องเล่า และพิธีกรรมของคนลุ่มน้ำโขงซึ่งเป็นสังคมพุทธศาสนามาอย่างช้านาน ดั่งปรากฏในพิธีกรรมการบวชนาคที่แสดงถึงการเปลี่ยนผ่าน สถานภาพจากพุทธศาสนิกชนเข้ามาสู่เพศบรรพชิต และในตำนานพระเจ้าเหยียบโลกที่กล่าวถึงพระพุทธเจ้ามีชัยชนะเหนือพวกนาคที่เป็นคนพื้นเมืองดินแดนลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง นอกจากนี้ ยังมีเรื่องเล่าท้องถิ่นที่กล่าวถึงว่านาคเป็นผู้ปกป้องและรักษาความอุดมสมบูรณ์ของทรัพยากรท้องถิ่น ทั้งดินน้ำและสรรพชีวิตต่างๆ ดั่งปรากฏในตำนานอุรังคธาตุ ตำนานเรื่องผาแดง นางไอ่ และตำนานสุวรรณโคมคำ เป็นต้น ซึ่งการที่คนลุ่มน้ำโขงมีความเชื่อร่วมกันเช่นนี้ ก็แสดงให้เห็นถึง สำนึกร่วมทางสังคมของผู้คนลุ่มน้ำโขงที่ให้ความสำคัญกับดินแดน ซึ่งสำนึกร่วมทางสังคมเหล่านี้ ก็ทำให้ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้คนกับดินแดนและทรัพยากรท้องถิ่นยังคงเกาะเกี่ยวร้อยรัดสายสัมพันธ์ความเป็นคนท้องถิ่นเข้าไว้ด้วยกันNaga : The social consciousness of the Mekong region

It was demonstrated to social con sciousness of the people to focus on the Mekong region which present the relationship between people and the land and local resources that were still intertwine the local people into together.
