<p><a href="https://wrc.wu.ac.th/2024/">Walailak Research Convention 2024 (WRC2024)</a></p> <p>Walailak University is proud to announce the Walailak Research Convention 2024, focusing on the vital theme of "Roles of Higher Education in the Turbulent World". The conference is scheduled to take place from the 27th to the 29th of March 2024 at the Pattarathammaporn Chamber, located on the 9th Floor of Building B, within the premises of Walailak University Hospital.</p> <p>This prestigious event will commence with an enlightening Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, the 27th of March 2024. Attendees are encouraged to register between 8.00 and 9.00 am, followed by a warm Welcoming Ceremony from 9.00 to 9.15 am, led by Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University.</p> <p>The Opening Remarks and Keynote Address titled "Role of Universities in Turbulent Times" will be delivered by Associate Professor Dr. Patamawadee Pochanukul, Director of Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), from 9.15 to 10.00 am. This will be followed by an insightful Keynote speech on "Roles of Higher Education in the Turbulent World" by Professor Chris Rudd OBE, Deputy Vice Chancellor and Head of Campus at Jamescook University, Singapore, from 10.00 to 10.30 am.</p> <p>Subsequently, from 10.45 am to 12.00 pm, a dynamic Plenary Discussion on "Roles of Higher Education: The Digital Economy, Carbon Neutrality, and Enhancing Quality of Life" will take place.
