Abstract

It is remarkable to be celebrating the 72nd anniversary of the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, which was established in 1947 in accordance with the royal principles of HM King Ananda Mahidol (RAMA VIII) to develop outstanding and selfless individuals to benefit all mankind. Together, this triad of excellence is known all over the world as the country’s most robust and progressive medical network. In addition, the royal wishes aspired to educate a sufficient number of medical doctors to provide better health care for Thai people and satisfy the public’s demands. The Faculty of Medicine was found in King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, the Thai Red Cross Society and was officially opened on June 11, 1947. With over seven decades of experience and international collaborations, our strong medical heritage anchors our efforts to propel our program into uncharted frontiers medicine. To this day, the Faculty, Hospital, and Red Cross Society remain the pillars of the community, constantly leading the way in medical training and healthcare excellence.
