Abstract

Due to a shortage of nursing instructors, scholars are seeking a new approach to develop and improve nursing by creating a mentoring system. This model would allow senior nurses who have nursing knowledge and experiences to be role models and draw on their experiences to help nurses who would like to develop professionally. The mentoring system is an effective way to develop not only as a nursing professional but also to allow moral and academic development. Finally, this will increase the number of nurses intending to stay in the profession.
