Practical Packages Development Emphasize Reading by Cartoon Books for Prathomsuksa 5 at Bandenlek School Tumbon denlek Ampoe Numpad Uttaradit Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to develop the comprehensive of reading abilities for prathomsuksa 5 students using reading cartoon books, and to compare the comprehensive reading abilities for prathomsuksa 5 students using reading exercises with cartoon books and study prathomsuksa 5 students satisfaction using reading exercises with cartoon books. The sample consisted of twenty two students of prathomsuksa 5 at Bandenlek School, Amphoe Numpad, Uttaradit province by purposive sampling. The research instruments were five cartoon books which help to improve reading skills of prathomsuksa 5 and comprehensive reading abilities test. The data were analyzed by standard deviation (S.D.), Process-E1, Product-E2, t-test dependent and one sample test. The results of the research were the efficiency of reading exercises with cartoon books was at 89.64/82.16. The post-test reading exercises with cartoon books was higher than the pretend at 82.08, there was statistically significant at .01 level. And the satisfaction of using reading exercises with cartoon books was at high agreement level. ( = 4.52)
