Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ (Survey Research) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบระดับความรู้ ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับปัญหาหมอกควันและระดับพฤติกรรมในการป้องกันตนเองในภาวะหมอกควัน ระหว่างประชาชนผู้ที่มีเพศ อายุ รายได้ ระดับการศึกษา อาชีพ และระยะเวลาอาศัยอยู่ในเขตพื้นที่เทศบาลตำบลจันจว้าแตกต่างกัน รวมถึงศึกษาความ สัมพันธ์ระหว่างระดับความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับปัญหาหมอกควันกับพฤติกรรมการป้องกันตนเองในภาวะหมอกควันของ ประชาชนในเขตพื้นที่เทศบาลตำบลจันจว้า มีประชากรทั้งสิ้น 14,796 คน คำนวณกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยใช้สูตรของ Taro Yamane ที่ ระดับความเชื่อมั่น 95% ทำการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้น (Stratified Random Sampling) ได้กลุ่มตัวอย่าง 390 คน เครื่องมือที่ ใช้เป็นแบบสอบถาม ทำการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้โปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์สำเร็จรูป วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติ ความถี่ (Frequency) ร้อยละ (Percentage) ค่าเฉลี่ย (Mean) ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (Standard Deviation) การทดสอบค่าที (t-test) การทดสอบ ค่าเอฟ (F – test) และค่าสหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน (Pearson correlation)

ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับปัญหาหมอกควันอยู่ในระดับสูงทุกด้าน แต่มีพฤติกรรมใน การป้องกันตัวเองในภาวะหมอกควันที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพอยู่ในระดับพอใช้ ส่วนผลจากการเปรียบเทียบทางสถิติ พบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่มีเพศ อายุ รายได้ ระดับการศึกษา อาชีพ และระยะเวลาที่อาศัยอยู่ในพื้นที่ที่แตกต่างกัน มีระดับความรู้ความ เข้าใจในปัญหาหมอกควันแตกต่างกันอย่างไม่มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ แต่ผู้ที่มีระดับการศึกษาและอาชีพแตกต่างกันจะมีพฤติกรรม การเผาในที่โล่งแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ และยังพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่มีอาชีพแตกต่างกันจะมีพฤติกรรมการป้องกัน ตนเองในภาวะหมอกควันที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพที่แตกต่างกัน นอกจากนี้ ก็ยังพบว่าระดับความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับปัญหา หมอกควันและพฤติกรรมการเผาในที่โล่งมีความสัมพันธ์กันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ แต่ระดับความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับปัญหา หมอกควันและพฤติกรรมในการป้องกันตนเองในภาวะหมอกควันที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ทางสถิติ (ที่ระดับ 0.05)

 

knowledge and Behaviors on their Smog Protection in Chanchawa Municipality, Mea Chan District, Chiangrai Province

Based on the survey research, the purposes of this study aimed to investigate the level of the people’s understandings and behaviors on their smog protection compared with their gender, age, monthly income, educational backgrounds, occupation, and length of stay, as well as to explore the correlations of the level of people’s understandings and behaviors on their smog protection found in Chanchawa Municipality, Mae Chan District, Chiangrai Province. For data collection, a questionnaire was conducted with 390 out of 14,796 respondents living in the zone of Chanchawa Municipality, with its confidence interval of 95% designed by Taro Yamane, were selected by the stratified random sampling technique. The data were systematically analyzed by Frequency Distribution, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test, F-test, and Pearson correlation.

The findings of the study revealed that the sample’s understandings of their smog – problems in all aspects were in high level, but their behaviors of self-protection from smog were in fair level. In addition, the statistical comparison showed that there was no significantly different of the understanding on smog – problems between people who had different gender, age, income, occupation and the period of living in the area. The comparison of outdoor burning behaviors showed the significantly different between people who had different educational backgrounds and occupation. Moreover, the comparison also revealed that people’s behaviors of smog-protection from health impacts was significantly different between those who had different occupations. Finally, by using correlation analysis, it was also found that the level of smog-problem understandings correlated significantly with their behaviors of outdoor burning, but there was no correlation between smog-problem understandings and behaviors of smog protection from health impacts (at 0.05 level).
