Performance Efficiency Affecting Organizational Loyalty of Staffs in Private Higher Educational Institutions in KhonKaen Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were : 1) to study the performance efficiency The purposes of this research were : 1) to study the performance efficiency affecting organizational loyalty of staffs in private higher educational institutions in KhonKaen province, 2) to study organizational royalty of staffs in private higher educational institutions in KhonKaen province and 3) to study the performance efficiency affecting organizational loyalty of staffs in private higher educational institutions in Khon Kaen province. The data used in this research were collected from questionnaire of 214 staffs out of 473 staffs in private higher educational institutions in KhonKaen province. The statistics used to analyze the data included percentage, average, standard deviation and Stepwise multiple regression and correlation analysis.


The research results showed that: 


1. The performance efficiency of staffs in private higher educational institutions in Khon Kaen province on a whole was rated at a high level in 4 aspects in comparison with the set criteria namely: Productivity, following the regulation, the responsibility for the performance and the organizational cooperation 


2. Organizational loyalty of staffs in private higher educational institutions in Khon Kaen province was rated at a high level in 3 aspects namely : The dedication in performance, The altruism and The recognition.


3. The performance efficiency affecting organizational loyalty of staffs in private higher educational institutions in KhonKaen province consisted of 7 out of 30 variables which were key factors influencing organizational loyalty. They were as follows : Career advancement to prove the capabilities of their own, Pleasure to follow a set organizational regulation, Happiness in performance, Leave or stop working if necessary, Recognize executive’s effectiveness in managing equality, Need in changing jobs or workplace, Organizational cooperation in various issues that 7 variables can be used to predict at 66.1 percent. The research results also showed that the most important variable that influenced organizational loyalty of staffs was career advancement to prove the capabilities of their own which this only variable can predict at 36.0 percent, at significant level of 0.5.
