The Guidelines for the Organization of Happiness: Case Study of 4-5 Stars Hotel in Anphur Maung, Khonkaen Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the factors that affect the joy at work of the staff in4-5 star hotel in Amphur Muang, Khonkaen Province2) to analyze the factors in order to be the happy organizationin the view of the hotel staff in 4-5 star hotel in Amphur Muang, Khonkaen Province3) to provide guidelines for the organization of happiness for 4-5 star hotels in Amphur Muang Khonkaen Province. The sample population of 315 persons and the tool used of this research was questionnaire. The data analysis was conducted by the means of the computer software to find the rates of Percentage, Mean, and Exploratory Factor Analysis with Principle Component Analysis, Varimax Orthogonal Rotation and employing Factor Score Coefficients from 0.70 and above.


          The Research outcomes are revealed as follows:


The factors affecting the joy at work of the staff in 4-5 star hotel in Amphur Muang Khon Kaen based on Happy-8 concepts were happy Heart, Happy Soul, Happy Society, Happy Brain and Happy Work-life. The factors affecting the organization of happiness based on MapHR concepts were happy with the management, happy with the process and happy with the results of the organization.


For the organization of happiness guidelines of 4-5 star hotels in Amphur Muang Khonkaen Province, there are 3 steps to concern that were 1) human resources management, with emphasis on the organization of happiness 2) the process of creating it and 3) the results of the organization. The results of happy organization is expressed in the form of performance quality,the increase in productivity, and Improve corporate image. Eventually, the "Organization of happiness" is a competitive tool for business services.
