Human Resources Management Affecting to the Decentralization of Administration and Educational Administration of Schools under the Bangkok Primary Education Service Area Office

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study 1) the level of schools’ human resources management; 2) the level of schools’ decentralization of administration and educational administration; and 3) the human resources management that affected the decentralization of administration and educational administration of schools under the Bangkok Primary Education Service Area Office. The 432 research samples consisted of school directors, vice school directors, head of school divisions and teachers. The research instrument was a questionnaire developed by the researcher with .96 reliability coefficient of schools’ human resources management and .98 reliability coefficient of schools’ decentralization of administration and educational administration. The data were statistically analyzed using the frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, and standard deviation; and using stepwise of multiple regression equation model for hypothesis testing. The findings revealed that: 1) the schools’ human resources management in overall was at the high level; 2) the schools’ decentralization of administration and educational administration in overall were at the high level; and 3) the human resources management affecting to the decentralization of administration and educational administration of schools under the of Bangkok Primary Education Service Area Office consisted of Rewards and Benefits aspect, Performance Management aspect, and Organizing, and Staffing aspect, statistically significant at the .01 level and the forecasting efficiency at 63%
