The questionnaires were used to collect data during April-May 2018. The data analysis was conducted via descriptive statistics, t-test analysis and analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results showed that the majority of female (50.2 per cent), aged 30-44 (34.8 per cent), married (53.1 per cent), finished secondary education (37.4 per cent) and working as service for hire (29.1 per cent). From the sample group, the normal BMI was 18.5-22.9 kg./sq.m. (41.1 per cent), the male’s normal waistline was ≤90 cm. (80.3 per cent) and the female’s normal waistline was ≤80 cm. (53.6 per cent) The sample group had the health behavior in medium level with 6-8 points (49.2 per cent) and the average health behavior was 6.03 points. For health behavior criteria, the sample group’s least passed behavior was no consumption of sweet-flavored
drinks (18.1 per cent) and the most passed behavior was no mere sitting or reclining for more than two consecutive hours (86.7 per cent). An analysis of self-introduction essays and observation on conversations between Thai teachers and Chinese students in class were employed. The results derived from descriptive analysis revealed that the pragmatic failures could be classified into four dimensions: 1) an inappropriate use of nouns and pronouns 2) a contamination of (Chinese) mother-tongue sentences 3) a usage of incorrect-meaning terms 4) a utilization of words for unsuitable levels and contexts. In order to reduce deficiencies and increase learning efficiency of the learners, this study suggests that a promotion of cultural learning and language skills development in communicating across Thai-Chinese cultures, together with a principal pragmatic
teaching, would encourage students to learn techniques and thinking process of native speakers in various communicative situations and to apply these skills effectively in the future. Keywords : Pragmatic failure, intercultural communication, Chinese students
2019-05-31T03:28:46+07:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://www.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/ejChophayom/article/view/191910 The Participation of Personnel from Three Sectors in Cultural Tourism Management in Maha Sarakham Province 2019-05-31T03:42:28+07:00 ณรงค์ฤทธิ์ โสภา narongrit_sopa@hotmail.com
The objectives of the survey research were to study the participation and needs for the participation of the governments sectors, private sectors and public sectors in cultural tourism management in Maha Sarakham Province, The sample subjects of the study were one hundred and sixty four participants.
