Factors Influencing the Effectiveness of the Public Participation Strategy and the Network of Police Operations in the Provincial Police Region 4

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to investigate Factors Influencing the Effectiveness of the Public Participation Strategy and the Network of Police Operations in the Provincial Police Region 4. The research was a survey method by using a questionnaire tool with 354 samples who were chiefs of the police stations, community police officers, public relations police officers of police stations, and members of committee for investigating and monitoring the police administration of police stations under the Provincial Police Region 4. The statistics used in data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. It was found that strategic leadership of the police station chiefs, public participation, network of police operations, and organizational culture of police stations in the Provincial Police Region 4 had influence on the effectiveness of the public participation strategy and the operation network of police officers in the Provincial Police Region 4 with statistical significance at the .05 level. Strategic leadership, public participation and network of police operations, and organizational culture of police stations in the Provincial Police Region 4 could together predict the effectiveness of the public participation strategy and the network of police operations in the Provincial Police Region 4 at 79.80 percent.
