SAFETY AND SECURITY STANDARD ON DOMESTIC FERRY AND INTERNATIONAL FERRY

Abstract

This article aims to study that Thailand has set a ferry safety standard that is appropriate and adequate to protect the lives and property of its users. By studying the Thai law in force, Draft Thai law, international instruments and foreign laws. According to studies, it has been found that Thai law and draft bill still have problems with the issuance of regulations on ferry safety standards. In order to define the ferry definition scope of application therefore, the Thai law and the draft bill should be amended so that the protection of the safety and security is more effective.
