Abstract

The purposes of this research were to develop the pilot model on the environmental education curriculum, to compare students’ achievement, attitude and behavior after leaning before and after learning according to the pilot model, to study students’ satisfaction toward the learning achievement, and to study teachers’ and parents’ satisfaction toward the implementation of the model, the population used in this research were 50 Grades 1-6 students from Yangba School, Chaiyaphum Province. The instruments used in this research included the pilot model on the environmental education curriculum, achievement test, attitude test, behavior test, and satisfaction tests. The statistics used for analyzing the data included percentage, mean, standard deviation and Z-test. The research findings revealed that the pilot model on the environmental education curriculum had efficiency of E1/E2 = 81.19/86.19. higher than the set criterion of E1/E2 = 80/80. The students had higher achievement after learning by the model than before learning with statistically significant difference at the .01 level. Students had attitude, behavior, and satisfaction toward learning activities as a whole at the high level, and the teachers and parents had satisfaction toward implementation of the pilot model on the environmental education as a whole at the high level.
