Quality Culture Development Model for Small Schools in the Northeast of Thailand

Abstract

This research was to construct a quality culture development model for small schools in the northeast of Thailand. Phase one was a quantitative study to analyze the component of quality culture for a small school. Data were collected by questionnaire 730 administrators and teachers.Phase two was creating a quality culture development model for small schools. The research finding; The quality culture for the small school consisted of 5 main elements include: leadership qualities, continuous quality development, praise and reward, teamwork and participation, and strategic quality management. The consistency of the relationship linear structure model of quality culture indicates for small schools with empirical data found; the index value of the quality culture model for small schools was subject to the criteria defining (Chi-square =97.144, df =77, P-Value =0.062, RMSEA = 0.021, SRMR = 0.020, CFI = 0.996 and TLI =0.994). The quality culture development model for small schools was Q-GLEAM Model include the name forms, principles and basic concepts, objectives, characteristics of model, and method of culture quality development and with the accurate, suitability, feasibility and usefulness at the highest level.
