Abstract

This article, To present problems and conflicts between
the state authoritiesand the community. Through political ecology
framework of Cultural Area Management “Rotational Farming”
of the Karen community living in the ThungYaiNaresuan forest,
East side. It is a presentation of the conflict in the context of
change under the new power relationship structure in the political
science view. Case of conflict between state authorities and the
community about “Rotational Farming” that affects the cultural
area of the community that has lived with the forest since their
ancestors. It is a conflict that affects human relationships with
nature. And knowledge The wisdom of the community is being
transformed into another. This article is a challenge to propose
ways of living together betweenstateand communities that affect
the social and culture, and future ecosystems, Including food
security. Through the analysis of critical discourse. To present a
structural cause that is the factor behind the phenomenon. To
