Feasibility Study on the Application of Putty Banana Slices in Community Enterprises
The objectives of this research were to create a banana slicer using 2 blades attached to the rotating plate and to reduce the working time. The key parts of the machine consist of motor belt, belt drive pulley, blade set, shaft, and bearing. The machine can cut the raw banana by using the rotation force from the motor and cutting the banana through the blade. The results show that a banana with 9-10 cm in length. It can be cut into 40-45 pieces within 1.17 seconds. The average time to cut banana was 14.2 s/kg. The banana slicer can work more consistently than labor and reduce much work time. In addition, it is very light weight and can moved.
