Abstract

This research is “The Study of Motivation for Employee Competency Development in the Plastic and Polymer Industry at Maptaphut Industrial Estate Rayong Province.” With population 1,287 people, the sample of this study consists of 306 people. Statistics is used for data analysis included percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Research methodology on comparison of mean and comparison of variance with T - test and One -way Anova Analysis of Variance by pair to Scheffe Analysis. Statistical analysis using program is statistically significant level of .05
The results of the study of Motivation for Employee Competency Development in the Plastic and Polymer Industry show that most of the population is male and single. Age between 21 – 30 years with a Bachelor's degree and the average monthly lower 20,000 bath. The Motivation for Employee Competency Development in the Plastic and Polymer Industry showed the Motivation in relationship higher than the Motivation in Growth and the Motivation in Physiological needs respectively.
