Focus and Scope

Journal of Applied Informatics and Technology (JIT) has been firstly published in 2017 by Faculty of Informatics, Mahasarakham University, Thailand. The JIT is a peer reviewed and open-access journal that aims to publish leading edge researches on any possible topic in informatics, technology and other related areas, both from theoretical and empirical perspectives. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Information Technology
  • Computing Science
  • Geo-Informatics
  • Information Science and Management
  • Digital Media
  • Communication Arts

Journal of Applied Informatics and Technology has 2 issues/year (January-June and July-December) by published with online version. ISSN (online): 2586-8136

The articles must be original and never be published in any other websites or other journals before. The articles which are considered as “plagiarism” articles are strongly prohibited to be published in the JIT journal.

There is absolutely no charge for all the authors/reviewers/visitors for all the processes of submitting, reviewing, English proofreading, publishing, accessing and downloading the articles with/from the JIT journal.

Peer Review Process

Fully Blind Peer Review

Journal of Applied Informatics and Technology employs a highly rigorous peer-review process to evaluate manuscripts for accuracy, novelty, and importance. All submitted manuscripts are subjected to peer-review by at least two independent reviewers. Peer reviews are done by a double-blind review method where the identity of the reviewers and the authors are not disclosed to either party. The final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection rests with the Editor-in-Chief.


Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
