บทความนี้นำเสนอปัจจัยที่ทำให้เกิดปัญหาต่อภูมิปัญญาและการสืบทอดผ้าทอไทยพวนบ้านใหม่ จังหวัดนครนายกอันเกี่ยวเนื่องกับภูมิปัญญาผ้าทอไทยพวนสะท้อนผ่านองค์ความรู้ในกระบวนการทอผ้า ตั้งแต่เทคนิคการย้อมแบบมัดหมี่ เทคนิคการทอ ผ่านลวดลายที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ที่เชื่อมโยงกับความเชื่อชาวไทยพวนที่มีต่อการนับถือผีและสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ความเป็นสิริมงคล และความศรัทธาในพระพุทธศาสนา ปัจจัยหลักที่ก่อให้เกิดปัญหาการสืบทอดภูมิปัญญาผ้าทอไทยพวนบ้านใหม่ มี 4 ด้าน 1) ปัญหากลุ่มผู้ถ่ายทอด มีจำนวนน้อยและยังเป็นกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุ 2) ปัญหาด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรม การขาดความต่อเนื่องด้านการสืบทอดภูมิปัญญาการทอผ้า 3) ปัญหาช่องทางในการสืบทอด พบว่าช่องทางหลักการสืบทอดปัจจุบันมีเพียงกลุ่มทอผ้ากลุ่มสตรีหัตถกรรมผ้าทอไทยพวน 4) ปัญหากลุ่มผู้สืบทอด ส่วนใหญ่เป็นกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุ ในขณะที่เด็กและเยาวชนไม่ค่อยให้ความสนใจ ในส่วนแนวทางการสืบทอดภูมิปัญญาแบ่งออกเป็น 3 แนวทาง 1) การสร้างกลุ่มผู้ถ่ายทอดและกลุ่มผู้สืบทอดให้มากขึ้น ทั้งกลุ่มผู้ใหญ่ และเยาวชน 2) การเพิ่มช่องทางในการสืบทอดผ่านหน่วยงานภาครัฐ และชุมชน ทั้งนี้ต้องมีการบริหารจัดการอย่างเป็นระบบและบูรณาการกับทุกภาคส่วน 3) การสืบทอดด้านศิลปวัฒธรรม ด้วยการบรรจุเนื้อหาภูมิปัญญาอย่างเป็นลายลักษณ์อักษร เพื่อป้องกันการสูญหายไปพร้อมตัวผู้ถ่ายทอด

Abstract

        This article aims to present the factors effecting to wisdom and transmitted heritage of Thai Phuan hand-woven fabric at Ban Mai, Nakhon Nayok. The wisdom of Thai Phuan’s hand woven fabric is reflected through the process of weaving, and dyeing technique. The unique design involves Thai Phuan’s belief with regard to the spirit and the sanctity, propitiousness and faith in Buddhism. The problem of passing on Thai Phuan Ban Mai has four main aspects. 1) There are few communicators and most of them are elderly. 2) The problem of arts and cultural which discontinuity of passing on the wisdom. 3) Due to the problem with transmitted heritage today, the main method is only from Thai Phuan’s hand woven fabric’s group. 4) Most successors are elderly, while the younger generation are disinterested. The way to pass wisdom and heritage are divided into three ways : 1) Forming the communicators and successors group both the elder and the younger. 2) Increasing the channels of transmitting heritage through the government sector and community with systematic management and integration. 3) Transmitting wisdom of arts and culture by creating recorded document to prevent the lost along with the lack of communicators.
