Abstract

The purposes of this research were to compare the student’ s mathematical problem solving ability and mathematic learning achievement on “Applications of Linear Equations with  One Variable”  of Mathayomsuksa 2 students after learning from activities management based on 7E learning cycle with 70 percent criterion. The design of research was one-group posttest-only design. The subjects of this study were 37 Mathayomsuksa 2 students in the second semester of the 2017 academic year at Pluakdaengpittayakom School in Rayong. They were randomly selected by using cluster random sampling. The instruments used in the study were; 4 lesson plans, mathematical problem solving ability test and mathematic learning achievement test. The data were analyzed by Mean, Standard Deviation and t-test for one sample. The findings were as follows:


  1. The mathematical problem solving ability on “Applications of Linear Equations with One Variable” of Mathayomsuksa 2 students after learning from activities management based on 7E learning cycle  was statistically higher than the 70 percent criterion at the .05 level of significance.

  2. The mathematic learning achievement on “Applications of Linear Equations with One Variable” of Mathayomsuksa 2 students after learning from activities management based on 7E learning cycle was statistically higher than the 70 percent criterion at the .05 level of significance.
