Abstract

This article aimed at presenting the characteristics of professional teachers in Public Administration in the 21st century with the aim of allowing teachers who teach Public Administration to better understand their role in the context of change by adhering to national education development strategies. Therefore, the four important characteristics are what teachers of Public Administration should have, namely,     1) Modern knowledge or science groups, such as seeking knowledge regularly through education, academic training, extensive knowledge and theoretical knowledge, etc. 2) Competency groups include having the ability to use information technology and having management capabilities, etc. 3) Moral and ethical groups, including having a spirit with compassion for students, punctuality and responsibility etc. and     4) Personality groups, including courage to think and make decisions dare to change, posing properly and expressing the role of being a teacher properly etc. Therefore, the characteristics of professional teachers in Public Administration are important and essential in the 21st century to be adapted for application to benefit by integrating teaching seamlessly bring the highest quality of teaching. Outreach and educational organizations. Both public and private sectors in order achieve the result of a well-qualified graduate to serve society.
