การวิเคราะห์ปริมาณการจราจรบนถนนสายประธาน ภายในเขตพื้นที่เทศบาลนครอุบลราชธานี : กรณีศึกษาถนนชยางกูรและถนนอุปราช

บทคัดย่อ

งานวิจัยฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปริมาณยานพาหนะประเภทต่างๆ ได้แก่ รถจักรยานยนต์ รถยนต์นั่งส่วนบุคคล และรถบรรทุกที่สัญจรบนถนนอุปราชและถนนชยางกูรซึ่งเป็นถนนสายประธานภายในเขตเทศบาลนครอุบลราชธานี การเก็บข้อมูลสำหรับการวิจัยครั้งนี้ได้กำหนดช่วงเวลาการศึกษาปริมาณของยานพาหนะในชั่วโมงเร่งด่วนคือ ตั้งแต่เวลา 07.00 น. ถึง 09.00 น. และเวลา 15.00 น. ถึง 16.00 น. ภายในถนนทั้ง 2 สายนี้มีทางแยกทั้งหมดอยู่จำนวน 12 ทางแยก โดยใช้ทฤษฎีการวิเคราะห์การเคลื่อนที่ของยวดยานพาหนะเป็นเกณฑ์ในการประมวลผลงานวิจัยในครั้งนี้ ผลการวิจัยพบว่าปริมาณยานพาหนะที่สัญจรภายในชั่วโมงเร่งด่วนบนถนนสายประธานทั้ง 2 สาย มีความคับคั่งค่อนข้างมากและสังเกตได้ว่าสัญญาณไฟจราจรของทั้ง 12 ทางแยกนั้นไม่สอดคล้องและสมดุลกับปริมาณยานพาหนะบนท้องถนน นอกจากนั้นปัญหาการจราจรติดขัดบนถนนสายประธานทั้ง 2 สาย ยังมีสาเหตุสำคัญมาจากพฤติกรรมของผู้ใช้รถใช้ถนนที่เห็นแก่ประโยชน์ส่วนตนเป็นหลักและไม่เคารพกฎจราจร ซึ่งส่งผลให้ปัญหาการจราจรของเทศบาลนครอุบลราชธานีมีแนวโน้มที่จะทวีความรุนแรงขึ้นในอนาคตMajor Arterials Traffic Volume Analysis in the area of Ubon Ratchathani Municipality: The Case Study of Chayangkul Road and Uparat Road

This paper aims to study the quantity of motorcycles, light vehicles, and heavy vehicles on two main arterial roadways within Ubon Ratchathani City Municipality, named Upparach Road and Chayangkul Road. This research specified for collecting data on two rush hours periods that start from 07.00-09.00 am. and 03.00-05.00 pm, so data collectors designed to collect traffic data in twelve junctions within two main connected roadways. The main theory for analyzing with all collected traffic data is traffic Flow Analysis Method. It was found that the quantity of vehicles on two main Roadways is very high in rush hours and the traffic signal systems in twelve junctions are not balancing with the number of real vehicles on roadways. In addition, the main causes of traffic concession in rush hours are rough and readiness, selfishness, and none following with traffic rules. Therefore, traffic jams situation within Ubon Ratchathani City Municipality will be increasing dramatically in severity and extended in the future.
