บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทดสอบสมบัติทางกายภาพของเนื้อดินสำหรับเตรียมอุปกรณ์กรองน้ำเซรามิก เพื่อกรองน้ำบริโภค โดยการเติมวัสดุเหลือใช้ทางการเกษตรเพื่อเพิ่มรูพรุนเปิดต่อเนื่องในเนื้อดิน เผาอุณหภูมิ 750 และ 800 องศาเซลเซียส เปรียบเทียบปริมาณจำนวนรูพรุนเปิดอย่างต่อเนื่อง และคุณภาพของน้ำ ที่ได้จากการกรองผ่านเนื้อดิน เพื่อเตรียมอุปกรณ์สำหรับการกรองน้ำแบบเซรามิกไว้ใช้ในการกรองน้ำบริโภค โดยนำดินพื้นบ้านกากดินรวมขี้เลื่อย ขุยมะพร้าว และแกลบดำ เป็นส่วนผสมเนื้อดิน ความละเอียดของดินพื้นบ้าน และกากดินรวมเฉลี่ยที่
35 เมช อุณหภูมิสูงสุดที่ใช้ในการเผา 750 และ 800 องศาเซลเซียส โดยเตาไฟฟ้า อัตราส่วนผสมเนื้อดินจำนวน
15 สูตร ควบคุมปริมาณดินพื้นบ้านให้คงที่ คือ ร้อยละ 70 กากดินรวมขี้เลื่อย ขุยมะพร้าว และแกลบดำ รวมร้อยละ 30 จากการทดสอบพบว่า เนื้อดินที่เผาในอุณหภูมิ 750 องศาเซลเซียส สมบัติไม่ผ่านเกณฑ์ที่ตั้งไว้ จึงคัดเลือกสำหรับการขึ้นรูปอุปกรณ์กรอง เฉพาะเนื้อดินที่เผา ณ อุณหภูมิ 800 องศาเซลเซียส โดยสูตรที่ 11 และ 12 เท่านั้นที่ผ่านเกณฑ์การคัดเลือก มีความแข็งแรงมากกว่า 2.5 MPa การหดตัว เฉลี่ยร้อยละ 6 ค่าความพรุนตัว เฉลี่ยร้อยละ 27 ค่าการดูดซึมน้ำ เฉลี่ยร้อยละ 19 จากการทดสอบคุณภาพการกรองน้ำผ่านเนื้อดินสูตรที่ 11 จากตัวอย่าง 3 แหล่ง คือ น้ำผิวดิน น้ำประปา และน้ำจากห้วยมง พบว่า มีค่าความขุ่นก่อนกรอง 2 2 4 FAU ตามลำดับ หลังกรอง มีค่าความขุ่น 1 2 2 FAU ตามลำดับ ไม่พบค่าโคลิฟอร์มแบคทีเรีย และค่าฟีคัลโคลิฟอร์มแบคทีเรียทั้งก่อนกรอง และหลังกรองเนื้อดินสูตรที่ 11 สูตรที่ 12 จึงสามารถนำไปใช้และพัฒนาในกระบวนการวิจัยต่อได้
