Abstract

ตัวแบบสมการโครงสร้าง (Structural Equation Models, SEM) เป็นวิธีการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลทางสถิติที่ซับซ้อน (Complex methods of data analysis) ประกอบด้วยวิธีการทางสถิติ เช่น การวิเคราะห์การแปรปรวนร่วม (Covariance), การวิเคราะห์การถดถอยเชิงพหุ, (Multiple regression analysis), การวิเคราะห์ปัจจัย (Factor analysis) การวิเคราะห์เส้นทาง (Path analysis) และ การวิเคราะห์ไคสแคว์ (Chi-square analysis) เป็นต้น

          SEM นำมาใช้ในการทดสอบตัวแบบความสัมพันธ์เชิงเหตุ-ผล (Causal relationship) ระหว่างตัวแปร โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งระหว่างตัวแปรแฝง (Latent variables) ซึ่งเรียกว่าเป็นตัวแบบเชิงโครงสร้าง (Structural model)

          ตัวแปร (Variable) ในระบบของ SEM แบ่งเป็น 2 ประเภท ประเภทที่ 1 ได้แก่ ตัวแปรซึ่งสังเกตหรือวัด (Measure) ได้โดยตรง หรือ Observable variables หรือ Manifest variables ซึ่งอาจมีความสำคัญในตัวของตนเอง หรือเป็นตัวชี้แสดง (Variable indicator) ของตัวแปรประเภทที่ 2 เรียกว่า ตัวแปรแฝง (Latent variables) ซึ่งไม่สามารถสังเกตหรือวัดได้โดยตรง

          ตัวแบบในระบบของ SEM มี 2 ประเภทได้แก่ ตัวแบบการวัด (Measurement model) และตัวแบบโครงสร้าง (Structural model) ตัวแบบการวัดเป็นตัวแบบแสดงความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างตัวแปรแฝง และตัวแปรที่สังเกตได้โดยตรง ซึ่งอาจเป็นตัวแบบเชิงสะท้อน (Reflective model) หรือตัวแบบเชิงองค์ประกอบ (Formative model) โดยมีข้อสมมติ (Assumption) ว่าตัวแปรแฝงเป็นเหตุ (Cause) และตัวแปรชี้แสดง หรือตัวแปรที่สังเกตได้โดยตรงเป็นผล (Effect) ส่วนตัวแบบโครงสร้าง เป็นตัวแบบความสัมพันธ์เชิงเหตุ-ผล (causal model) ระหว่างตัวแปรแฝง

          การทดสอบตัวแบบใน SEM เป็นการทดสอบตัวแบบการวัดและตัวแบบโครงสร้างไปพร้อม ๆ กัน (Simultaneous) โดยใช้ - test และดัชนีความเหมาะสมดี (Goodness of fit indices)
