The Conflicts Management between the State and the Community by Buddhist Peaceful Means : A Case Study of Suvarnabhumi Airport

บทคัดย่อ

        This Research is of 3 objectives, i.e. (1) to study the ideas and theories of the conflict management by Buddhist Peaceful means; (2) to study the conflict management between the community and Suvarnabhumi Airport; and (3) to analyze the conflict management for the community and Suvarnabhumi Airport by Buddhist peaceful means.  This paper is of the qualitative research by the data collected from related academic documents and researches, together with the data from the in-depth interview.
          From the research, it is found that the nature of a conflict is the disagreement among the members or the groups in organizations caused by people’s behaviors.  This mentioned conflict may reflect in the form of non-violence or violence.  There are different ways of conflict managements in both informal and private processes but with the important condition that the key people who are to apply the presented means for use must perform it correctly.
          From the analysis of managing conflicts by Buddhist peaceful means between the community and Suvarnabhumi Airport, it is found that the management according to ‘the Six Saraniฺyadhamma’ can help promote the people’s good understanding towards Suvarnabhumi Airport in that they both can live together happily by having good wishes to one another through their bodies, speeches and minds.
