The Family Participation Development Process in Promoting Quality of Life for the Elderly in Phraputtabat district Municipality, Saraburi Province

บทคัดย่อ

       This article is the mixed methods research that aimed to study the family participation process in promoting the quality of life of the elderly by using AIC process. Data was collected from the 30 agents of the family and the elderlies who lived in the Phraputtabat district Municipality, Saraburi province. The research instrument consists of four parts: sociodemographic, role of the family in promoting the quality of life of the elderly questionnaire, the quality of life of the elderly questionnaire and activities plan about the family participation development process by using AIC process. The statistics are used to analysis the data, including average, standard deviation, and t-test.
        The results shown that members of a family reflected the problems of the quality of life 4 parts: Physical, Psychological, Social Relationship and Environment. They presented a guideline to develop the quality of life four activities and applied to elderly. The role of the family and the quality of life of the elderly after joining the family participation development process activities were significantly increased before joining those activities at p< .01.
