The MultiLevel Factors Influencing Wellness of the Secondary School Students under Office of Basic Education Commission in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area

บทคัดย่อ

The objective of this research was to study wellness of the secondary school students under office of basic education committee in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area, to study the relationship between three level factors; which were composed of student level, classroom level and school level with wellness of the secondary school students under office of basic education committee in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area. The samples consisted of nine hundred and twenty administrators, teachers and students of the first semester in the academic year 2016 in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area. The tool used in the study was a five-point rating scale questionnaire. The statistics for data analysis were mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation and multilevel analysis.
          The research results were follows:
          1. The wellness of the secondary school students under office of basic education committee in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area as a whole was at a high level. The means of the multilevel analysis of the student level factors and the classroom level factors were at the high level. Regarding the school level factors, there were two variables such as policy and leadership at the highest level and two variables such as work cooperation and school climate at a high level.
          2. The student level factors, the classroom level factors, and the school level factors were positive in relations to the wellness of the secondary school students under office of basic education committee in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area with statistical significance at the level of 0.05.
          3. The student level factors in the aspects of motivation, self-esteem, and learning Behavior influenced the wellness of the secondary school students under office of basic education committee in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area.  The classroom level factors in aspects of teaching behavior and evaluation and monitoring behavior influenced the wellness of the secondary school students under office of basic education committee in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area. The school level factors in aspects of policy, leadership and work cooperation   influenced the wellness of the secondary school students under office of basic education committee in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area.
