A Study of Factors Affecting Teaching and Learning Performance of English in Bangkok Metropolitan Schools

บทคัดย่อ

This objective of the research : to study the factors affecting teaching and learning Performance of English in Bangkok Metropolitan Schools. The sample consisted of 40 of administrators, 120 of teachers and 1800 of students of Bangkok Metropolitan Schools. The tools used in the study were 3 questionnaires:  the administrators, teachers and students. Data analysis was multilevel analysis.

              The results of the research findings were as follows:

              1. Teaching and learning performance of English were in the moderate level. (X ̅ = 3.10)

              2. The student level factors; there were 3 factors that affecting teaching and learning performance: learning attitude, learning behavior and learning participation.

              3. The teacher level factors; there were 2 factors that affecting teaching and learning performance in classroom level: teaching and learning management , measurement and evaluation.

              4. The administrator level factors; there were 2 factors that affecting teaching and learning performance in school level: academic leadership and nondirective behavior.
