A Way to the Application of Saraniyadhamma for Conflict Management between Port Authority of Thailand and Employees

บทคัดย่อ

This thesis is aimed at 1) to study the context of the conflicts between the Port Authority of Thailand and its employees, (2) to study Saraniyadhamma in Buddhist Scripture, and (3) to present the way to apply Saraniyadhamma to manage conflicts between the Port Authority of Thailand and its employees.
From the research, it indicates the followings:
1) In the conflict case of the employees’ calls for the reimbursement of overtime-working wages: there are 3 causes: attitude, benefit and information.  The conflict management has proceeded to an accusation which lead to the situation of lacking harmonization in view of relationship between the employees and the organization’s executives.
2) The Six Saraniyadhamma is the Dhamma that can be used to manage conflicts and create love and unity in the organization.
3) The conflict resolution between the Port Authority of Thailand and its employees by the Six Saraniyadhamma starts from the same opinion, participation in designating organizational rules and regulations, having loving-kindness towards one another in order to bring the expressions of respect, giving honor and sympathy, ready to share mutual benefits with justice.  The new knowledge of the research is IP-OP Model’s; IP (Inner Peace) means the development of inner peace leading to OP (Outer Peace) which will lead to peaceful organization and society.
