The Role of Leaders in Developing Local Community : A Case Study of Chief Executive of Nasiaw Sub-district Administrative Organization

บทคัดย่อ

The objectives of this research were to study the opinion of people on the role of
chief executive of Nasiaw Sub-district Administrative Organization and to compare the
opinion of people on the role of chief executive of Nasiaw Sub-district Administrative
Organization. The Population in this study include people living in the Nasiaw Sub-district
Administrative Organization Muang Chaiyaphum Province Aged 18 years and over The
number 5,552 people. Researchers have defined a sample using a formula to calculate the
sample size of TARO YAMANE sample. A total of 396 people. Questionnaire survey was
used to collect data. Percentage, mean, t-test and One-way ANOVA were used to analyze
the data.
The research results were as follows:
1. The results of studying the people’s opinion on the role in developing local
community of chief executive of Nasiaw Sub-district Administrative Organization revealed
that all six dimensions of the roles, i.e. infrastructure; enhancing quality of life; organizing
peace and order of community; planning; enhancing investment, commerce and tourism;
preserving natural resource and environment; art, culture, custom and local wisdom, had
much level means.
2. The results of comparing the opinion of people on the role in developing local
community of chief executive of Nasiaw Sub-district Administrative Organization revealed
that all six roles were not different between genders, some dimension of role in
developing local community of chief executive o fNasiaw Sub-district Administrative
Organization, however, were different between groups of age, groups of education, and
groups of length of staying in community at significance level of .05.
