The Development of the Integrative Buddhist Educational Package for Promoting in Observing Eight Precepts (Uposatha Sila)

บทคัดย่อ

The purposes of this article was to an integrated training package to promote the practice of Uposatha Sila. It is a Mixed Method Research design consisting of the qualitative research and the quantitative one to conduct Pre-Experimental Design. Trial for the self-training with the samples of 50 laymen and the quantitative and qualitative data were analyzed.The analysis of the quantitative and qualitative data.
The results of the study indicated that :
1. This an integrated training package to promote the practice of Uposatha Sila and satisfaction in an integrated training package to promote the practice of Uposatha Sila with a self- training at high level.
2. The integration of the Dhamma in the 9 units of the training package created from literature reviews, in-depth interview, and focus group and took it to use with the control group of practice for the layman, can bring the Dhamma of each unit to build new knowledge to promote the practice of Uposatha Sila is 3B’sMW – model.
3. A summary of the new knowledge to create an Integrated Training Package to Promote the Practice of Uposatha Sila, it is 3B’sMW – model (Believe, Brave, Buddhist precepts, Meditation, and Wisdom) that is the first B (Believe) to teaching of the Buddha, the second B (Brave) to practice, the third B (Buddhist precepts) of Uposatha Sila, M (Meditation) to maintain the mental stability, and W (Wisdom) to study the values from the benefit of practice Uposatha Sila.
