The Sufficiency Economy Learning Center Strategies Development of Mobile Development Unit in the North-east of Thailand

Abstract

This research aims to develop strategies for Sufficiency Economy Learning Center of Mobile Development Unit in the North-east Region of Thailand under the Development Strategy for the Promotion of National Security. The subjects were 222 members of Sufficiency Economy Learning Center of Mobile Development Unit in the North-east Region of Thailand and 34 experts. The instruments used in the study were questionnaire, interview, group discussion record form, and strategies evaluation form. Data were analyzed by using statistical analysis including percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test, and qualitative data were analyzed by using content analysis.
The results of the study revealed that there are five strategies of the development strategies of Sufficiency Economy Learning Center of Mobile Development Unit in the North-east Region of Thailand. The five strategies consist of 1) the management and administration of the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center strategy, 2) knowledge transfer strategy, 3) knowledge providing services strategy, 4) the creation of knowledge and learning resources strategy, and 5) the development of network of the learning center strategy. The results of using the five strategies showed that more activities for the members of the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center were created more in high level with significance (P<0.05). The strategy that takes influence on learning process the most was knowledge transfer strategy and followed by strategy knowledge providing services strategy, the management and administration of the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center strategy, the creation of knowledge and learning resources strategy, and the development of network of the learning center strategy, respectively. The results of strategies evaluation by experts in consistency, usefulness, possibility, and appropriateness were in high level.
