The Study of the Teaching Activity Management by using SPICE Model, Foreign Language Department, Mathayom Suksa 1

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the efficiency of the SPICE Model, English strand for Mathayomsuksa 1 on criterion of 80/80. 2) to compare English achievement  before and after English learning through the SPICE Model 3) to compare English achievement after English learning through the SPICE Model each learning style 4) to study the pursuit in English learning through the SPICE Model and 5) to study the satisfaction in English learning through SPICE Model. The Sample group was Mathayomsuksa 1/4 learners Phetlakornwittayan School in the second semester of the academic year 2017 at the United Campus Under the Office of the Secondary Education Service Area, Phetchabun Province, One cluster of 31 learners. There are 4 data collection tools are plans for learning activities, achievement test, evaluation of the learner's level of learning and evaluation of the learner's level of student satisfaction. The results of the research were: 1) The efficiency of using SPICE Model, English strand for Mathayomsuksa 1 learners was 85.82/84.19 ; that was higher than the criterion of 80/80. 2) The English achievement of Mathayomsuksa 1 learners was higher than before when learning through the SPICE Model. There were statistically significant at .05 level. 3) The English achievement of Mathayomsuksa 1 learners when learning through the SPICE Model. There were at Learners with visual learning have the highest average scores, Secondly the learners who have an auditory learning style and the least is a learner who is physically motivated. There were statistically significant at .05 level.  4) The Mathayomsuksa 1 learners interest towards learning with the SPICE Model was overall high. 5) The Mathayomsuksa 1 learners satisfaction toward SPICE Model was overall high.
