Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 10-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Preparation of manuscript

Manuscripts submitted to JRAME must be written in English and should be formatted in the same form and style as that of the final journal article.

 

The title page should have the article title, authors' names and affiliations and the address for manuscript correspondence (including e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers). For each author, a numbered superscript should be used to indicate institution affiliation. The corresponding author should be indicated by the asterisk “*” symbol and the presenting author should be identified by underlining their name. The corresponding author’s telephone/fax numbers and e-mail address should be provided as the final item in the title block. Following the title is a single paragraph abstract summarizing the main findings of the manuscript in less than 150 words. After the abstract, a list of up to 6 keywords should be included that will be useful for indexing or searching. The main body of the manuscript should start right after the keywords. Experimental procedures, data and computational methods must be explained in sufficient detail to permit replication by other researchers.

 

The main body of manuscript can be divided into sections and (optionally) sub-sections with sub-subsections.  

 

The size of the manuscript page must be custom (19 cm x 26 cm) and it should be typed in single paragraph with single spacing and the following margins.

Figures and Tables

All figures and tables should be placed after their first mention in the text. Place figure captions below the figures and centered within a column. Place table titles above the tables and flush left. If a figure has two or more panels, include labels “(a)”, “(b)” and on so on, should appear as part of the artwork. Please verify that the figures and tables mentioned in the text are actually included in the paper. When citing a figure(s) in the text, they should be referred as, for example, “Fig. 1.” or “Figs. 1-3.” or Table 1. Do not abbreviate “Table”. Figures should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals. Lettering on drawings should be of professional quality or generated as high-resolution computer graphics. Illustrations in color can be accepted only if the authors defray the cost. TIF or EPS files are required for figures.

 

Equations

Equations should be placed to the left and numbered consecutively. Equation numbers should be Arabic numerals enclosed in parentheses flush on the right-hand margin. They should be cited in the text as, “Eq. (1)” or “Eqs. (1)–(3)”. Be sure that the symbols in equations are defined before the equation appears or immediately following its presentation. The font and size of symbols should be consistent throughout the manuscript.

 

Acknowledgements

Acknowledgements may be made to individuals or institutes who have made an important contribution to the work.

 

References

References should follow the Vancouver style, and only be in English. Relevant works must be cited and listed as references at the end of the manuscript, in the order of citation. They should be referred to in the text using Arabic numerals enclosed in square brackets, e.g. [1], [1, 2], [1-3]. The reference list should be set in the same type face as the body of the text. Some examples of the references to journals, proceedings, technical reports, books and web-based articles are illustrated as follows:

Suggesting Potential Reviewers

The authors must suggest at least three potential reviewers to review their submitted paper. Only one reviewer from their country is allowed. Those reviewers should not be in any way related to any of the authors. The reviewer list can be separated into another file.

Submission of manuscript

Files should be saved as Word (.doc or .docx) documents before uploading to ensure that the equations translate properly. Manuscripts and enquiries should be submitted via https://ph01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jrame/index.

 

Manuscripts are accepted for review with the understanding that the work has not been and will not be submitted elsewhere, and that its submission for publication has been approved by all the authors and by the institution where the work was carried out. Any person cited as a source of personal communications must approve such a citation.

 

All manuscripts submitted to JRAME undergo peer-review process via a double-blind review.
